Heimstaden Bostad expands its portfolio in Eskilstuna, Sweden

With the acquisition, Heimstaden Bostad strengthens its presence in Eskilstuna. Heimstaden Bostad owns and manages 559 residential units in Eskilstuna, which was acquired in the beginning of November 2020, and has since then established a local property management organization. The two properties are located in Munktellstaden, a historic industrial area north of the city, considered to be one of Eskilstuna’s most attractive locations.

Namnsdagen 1 is built in accordance with the Swedish Green Building Council’s silver certification. The construction of Nacken 1 will be built in accordance with the Swedish Green Building Council’s silver certification and will meet the energy requirements for receiving the enhanced energy support.

“There is an increased need for new housing projects in many Swedish municipalities, Eskilstuna included, and the properties in Munktellstaden will contribute to the municipality’s development and attractiveness.
